Throughout his career at home and abroad, Mr. Mafiana has held various roles, showcasing his proficiency in performance management, competence framework management, and business partnering. His leadership abilities are evident through his adeptness in change management, diversity and inclusiveness, and his skill in motivating, coaching, and developing teams.

Mr. Mafiana is a member of several professional associations, including the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE), the Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE) (Delta state chapter), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
